Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a hybrid role, with two days being onsite in their downtown Los Angeles, CA office. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Description:

Month and year-end general ledger closings
Produce monthly financial statements for review with CFO and Executive Management
Oversee the Accounting Clerk and Financial Aid Specialist
Create new general ledger accounts
Maintain fixed asset schedule including tracking capital assets and depreciating schedule
Review bank reconciliations and accrual schedules

Requirements:

Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
Strong Excel skills
Knowledge of fund and grant accounting preferred
Experience in an educational, non-profit industry required
Knowledge of Jenzabar Software preferred

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
