Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review corporate income tax returns with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Perform detailed calculations of federal tax adjustments and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to manage tax compliance processes and meet deadlines.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and reconcile tax data efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal tax regulations and apply them to client scenarios.
- Proven experience in income tax compliance, particularly with federal corporate returns.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of complex formulas such as XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and logical functions.
- Ability to function effectively as both a preparer and a detailed reviewer of tax documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills to explain tax issues and collaborate with internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 - 4+ years of relevant tax experience in a professional setting.
- Familiarity with the entertainment industry is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
