ACCOUNTANT​/MALAYSIA

This role is based in Kuala Lumpur

• Preparation of management accounts the fund manager, funds and related entities
• Liaise with fund administrator and other service providers
• Analyse accuracy of accounting entries
• Reconcile valuation worksheets with management accounts
• Preparation of quarterly valuation of portfolio companies
• Liaise with the investment team to obtain information of portfolio companies
• Preparation of valuation worksheet
• Preparation of capital draw down and distribution.
• Preparation of working of capital draw down and distribution
• Preparation of capital drawdown/distribution notice to investors
• Preparation of quarterly reports
• Work closely with investment team to complete updates of portfolio companies
• To prepare market/industry outlook and update economic data
• Preparation of documents for audit, tax, and corporate secretarial related matters
• Attend to queries and request of auditors, tax consultants and corporate secretary
• Engage corporate secretary on preparation of secretarial documentations
• Attend to periodic and ad hoc information request by investors
• Handle liquidation processes of entities
• Perform reconciliation of financial numbers across documents
• Other financial and operational matters (i.e payments for related entities)

• Degree in Accountancy / Finance or professional qualification - ACCA / CPA / MICPA etc
• At least 5-6 years of working experience in auditing or fund administration.
• Experience with international accounting firms would be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge in accounting and financial numbers
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments
• Proficiency in Excel
• Compliance knowledge would be an added advantage
• A team player who is able to work independently and is detail-oriented.
