Our Client, A leading enterprise entertainment company, is seeking an Accountant to support financial processes connected to digital content rights and enterprise financial systems. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, system alignment, and timely month-end reporting.

Duration: 6 Month W2 Contract (Open to conversion/extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review the flow of financial data between rights management platforms (Media Maestro, Whip Media) and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
• Evaluate digital licensing contracts, metadata, and distribution terms to ensure proper revenue treatment and billing configuration
• Identify, analyze, and resolve data inconsistencies across integrated financial and operational systems
• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates, customer onboarding, and workflow improvements
• Prepare reports, journal entries, and reconciliations to support month-end close activities
• Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analytical support as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent preferred
• 3–5 years of practical accounting experience, ideally within media, entertainment, or content distribution
• Solid background in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience working with enterprise ERP systems, particularly Oracle and/or SAP
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, including occasional weekend reporting
