This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team focused on managing some of Door Dash’s largest technology investments, where you can have a meaningful impact. In this role, you’ll lead Global R&D workforce management for Door Dash and its acquired companies, partnering closely with Engineering and Product leadership to optimize investment decisions across their organizations.
What You'll Do- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering and Product leadership, Corporate Finance, and teams across acquired companies to guide strategic workforce decisions.
- Provide weekly insights to business partners on their budget surplus or deficit and the headcount movements driving week‑over‑week changes.
- Build and evaluate headcount scenarios to help business partners understand the impact of different investment paths.
- Analyze how resources are allocated across global R&D to inform and justify investment recommendations.
- Lead headcount system integrations for acquired companies to ensure seamless alignment of data and processes.
- 6+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience.
- Experience managing forecasting & reporting for major departments within an organization.
- Track and analyze key business/financial KPIs to identify trends and assess both current and future risks and opportunities.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working directly with senior executives.
- Ability to influence cross-functional partners at all levels.
Base salary: $134,000 – $197,000 USD, localized by location. Additional equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with matching, paid parental leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits, paid time off, disability and basic life insurance, and mental health program.
