Legal​/Business Operations Associate

About Us: Square Nine Capital is an SEC registered investment management firm dedicated to providing innovative financial solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a talented and motivated Operations Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for an attorney with 2-4 years of law firm experience in finance, corporate, or investment fund practice areas who is eager to transition into a dynamic operations role.

• Support the Chief Operating Officer in managing operational, legal, financial and compliance matters related to investment funds, investments and corporate governance.
• Assist in the management of fund administration, investment processes, legal and regulatory matters including by collaborating with outside legal, compliance and finance consultants to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to industry regulations.
• Coordinate the execution of key operational tasks, including reporting, investor communications and marketing.
• Participate in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 2-4 years of law firm experience with a focus on finance, corporate law, or investment fund practice areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances in a dynamic industry.
