Job Description

The Funding Administrator is an individual with the vision and dedication needed to oversee and develop funding activities. This challenging, dynamic position offers opportunity for advancement. The Funding Administrator ensures seamless completion of the loan funding process and works closely with Loan Officers, Credit Analysts, and Management to oversee daily funding activities.

If you’re currently working in a dealership’s business office or in any administrative role—junior accountant, billing specialist, or office manager—this role is for you. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage paperwork and deadlines translate perfectly into this role.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to Westlake Direct’s credit policy.
  • Verify completeness of all necessary documents and information.
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers and Credit Analysts to resolve any discrepancies or missing information.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a smooth funding process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds to lienholders and dealers.
  • Conduct quality control checks on loan files to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the funding process promptly and efficiently.
  • Implement improvements in the funding workflow.
Knowledge, Skills, Licenses
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of online meeting tools (Teams, Zoom).
  • Comfort and skill with working with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
  • Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university, preferred.
Experience
  • Automotive and finance experience; beneficial.
  • Previous loan funding or underwriting experience; beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); required.
  • Knowledge of web applications; beneficial.
  • Knowledge/experience with the use of Dealer Track, Route One, or CUDL; beneficial.

Pay Rate
  • Self‑determined, performance‑based compensation package.
  • $45,000.00 – $70,000.00 annual average range.
  • Base pay of $3,636.53 per month. $20.98 base rate plus monthly bonus opportunity of approximately $2,000.00.
  • The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will depend on factors such as geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
