Overview
Looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Assistant to help with music events in LA (must be local).
This is NOT a desk job. If you don’t like physical work, late nights, or live events, this isn’t a fit.
What You’ll Do- Pick up & transport event equipment from a storage unit
- Arrive early to venues for load-in and setup
- Assist during the show (stage managing, running, coordination)
- Break down gear after the event
- Transport equipment back to storage (same night or later in the week)
- Reliable car that can carry event gear
- Able to lift 40–50 lbs
- Punctual, calm under pressure, detail-oriented
- Comfortable working nights + weekends
- Positive attitude & good people skills
- Must be reachable and responsive on show days
- $100–$250 per event
- Based on event size, hours, and responsibility
- Have worked concerts, events, stagehand, PA, or prod roles
- Like being part of live shows and fast-moving environments
- Are dependable and don’t disappear last minute
