Purpose Statement/
Position Summary:
The Food Service Worker II performs a variety of duties including stocking supplies, food service in the cafeteria and for patients, cash register responsibilities, and cleaning according to infection control standards.
Minimum Qualifications /
Work Experience:
2+ years’ hospital food service and/or customer service experience.
- Previous food service/retail and cash handling experience.
- Flexible schedule availability due to café being open 24 hours.
- Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.
- Able to lift/move objects up to 20 lbs.
Education/Licensure/
Certifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Pay Scale Information: $24.48-$24.48 per hour. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
