The Ice Crew comprises both the Hockey Development Team and the Promotional Team. The LA Kings seek outgoing, energetic, and charismatic fans who can lead crowds at games and serve as coaches and ambassadors during events. Whether cheering with fans, shoveling on ice, coaching on‑ice and off‑ice clinics, or introducing hockey in the community, we invite you to join the Ice Crew.

Strong teamwork skills, communication, and reliability are key.

• Assist with on‑ice/off‑ice and in‑arena contests, promotions, and activities (t‑shirt tosses, contests, prize giveaways, etc.)
• Assist with ice maintenance scraping during TV timeouts
• Assist with pre‑ and post‑game ice time logistics
• Aid with the set‑up and breakdown of interactives at Fan Fests
• Provide excellent customer service and engagement to all fans and guests
• Assist stage managers with miscellaneous tasks
• Sell promotional items to benefit the Kings Care Foundation

• Act as brand ambassadors at almost 400 outside events and appearances throughout the community, including charity functions, fan development events, promotional events, grassroots marketing events, etc.
• Assist on and off‑ice at LA Kings Learn to Skate, Learn to Play, Ball Hockey, camps, and other community hockey events
• Greet fans, answer questions, and participate in photo‑ops
• Set up mobile marketing activations and operate Ice Crew vehicles
• Capture and create content that can be utilized on all digital platforms

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
• Ability to move about frequently as needed during events/games
• Ability to work in various climates (preferred)
• Availability to work home games, nights, and weekends
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer (recommended)
• Ability to ice skate at an advanced level (preferred)

• High School Diploma or equivalency

• 0–2 years related work experience
• Skating experience strongly recommended for the LA Kings Hockey Development Team and Reign Ice Crew
• Skating experience a plus for the LA Kings Promo Team
• Experience teaching and coaching hockey preferred
• Cheerleading, crowd leading, acting and/or dance experience is a plus
• Experience in photo and video content creation is a plus

Pay Scale: $20.00 – $21.00

This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
