About the RoleJaquith Consulting Group, Inc. (JCG) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Project Scheduler to support schedule development, maintenance, and reporting activities for the LA 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute to one of the most high-profile and impactful global sporting events by shaping the successful delivery of program elements leading up to the Olympics.
Under the direction of the Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting of schedule data, reviewing project schedules, and ensuring consistency with program requirements. You will also collaborate with project partners to evaluate schedule performance, develop What‑if analyses, and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date program schedules.
This role requires strong analytical skills to anticipate and address potential scheduling risks while working closely with leadership and teams to ensure schedules are optimized and project goals are met on time.
Key Responsibilities- Provide schedule development, maintenance of schedule data and reporting for Olympic venue schedules
- Develop schedules incorporating constraints (scope, schedule, cost) for large infrastructure projects, including resource assignment and variance analysis
- Collect field progress data, update the status weekly or monthly, and produce look-aheads, variance reports, and earned-valued forecasts
- Develop and maintain integrated baseline schedules and cost plans, monitor performance against the approved program baseline
- Manage progress, schedule duration changes, and duration verification basis
- Provide schedule assumptions and general basis for schedule development
- Identify key items which may not be included in structure schedules (such as utility relocations, environmental and or seasonal restrictions, or procurements)
- Perform review and analysis of current in-progress Olympic schedules for correlation with future, planned Olympic construction schedules (current construction duration estimates vs. future planned construction duration estimates)
- Provide recommendations for increased schedule reliability to leadership.
- Review narrative reports, Gantt charts, S-curves, and/or KPI dashboards for project managers, field teams, and executive stakeholders
- Identify longest path and critical schedule items
- Run critical path and what-if analyses to test sequencing options, recovery plans, and alternative delivery scenarios
- Support audit readiness and compliance efforts (e.g., DCMA reviews) by providing required schedule data and analysis
- Perform review and reporting tasks as required under direction of the Master Scheduler
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6+ years of experience working on large infrastructure, construction or architecture programs
- Proficiency with and knowledge of Primavera P6
- Proficiency with industry standard project and construction management software (e.g., TILOS, MA Project, Bluebeam, Acumen Fuse, etc.)
- Program and or project schedule development experience
- Experience with full Critical Path Method (CPM) baseline schedule development, resource or cost loading, progress updating, and variance analysis
- Ability to develop construction schedules from preliminary and/or conceptual plans, develop and document basis of schedule development
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify and document associated schedule risks and provide recognizable and understandable work activities and sequences
- Ability to meet required deadlines and deliverable dates
- Proven ability to interpret project scope, drawings, and constraints and translate them into logic-driven and sequenced, resource-aware schedules
