Dabri, Inc. is a leading provider of project management and project controls services, supporting complex capital improvement programs for public and private sector clients. We are proud to support the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in managing a diverse portfolio of educational facility and infrastructure projects. Dabri, Inc. fosters a collaborative, results-driven environment and is seeking skilled scheduling professionals at the Junior, Project, and Senior levels to support LAUSD’s capital construction program.

The Construction Scheduler will support planning, analysis, monitoring, and reporting of construction schedules using Primavera P6 (latest version). Positions are available at multiple experience levels, ranging from entry-level Junior Scheduler to Senior Regional Construction Scheduler. Depending on experience level, the selected candidate will be responsible for schedule development, baseline review, forensic analysis, earned value reporting, contractor schedule review, and program-level schedule oversight.

Responsibilities vary by level and may include, but are not limited to:

Schedule Development & Review
  • Develop, maintain, and update cost- and resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6.
  • Review contractor baseline schedules and monthly updates for logic, scope completeness, cost loading, and milestone alignment.
  • Analyze and identify missing scope, logic deficiencies, critical path shifts, and milestone slippage.
  • Perform QA/QC on contractor and program-level schedules to ensure compliance with LAUSD standards.
  • Validate schedule coding, layouts, and data integrity per program guidelines.
Schedule Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze schedule performance against baseline and identify risks impacting project delivery.
  • Create Earned Value Analysis (EVA) curves using LAUSD templates.
  • Produce schedule variance reports, root cause analysis, and mitigation/recovery recommendations.
  • Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) using Windows Analysis methodology.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards.
  • Update Master/Program Schedules with as-built and forecast dates.
Contract & Scope Evaluation
  • Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
  • Determine if work is within contract scope.
  • Review contract terms to assess compensable vs. non-compensable time extensions.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Attend and participate in schedule review meetings.
  • Communicate schedule risks and progress concerns to Project Managers, OARs, and senior leadership.
  • Visit construction sites to verify contractor-reported progress.
  • For senior-level roles: assist in supervising and mentoring junior schedulers.
Minimum Qualifications Junior Scheduler
  • 1+ year of professional scheduling experience for an Owner or General Contractor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version) and MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Project Scheduler (Mid-Level)
  • 6+ years of full-time professional construction scheduling experience.
  • Experience on educational facilities or public works projects preferred.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency including:
  • WBS development
  • Logic ties (predecessor/successor)
  • Cost/resource loading
  • Baseline development
  • Experience reviewing contractor schedule submittals.
  • Strong written technical reporting ability.
Senior Regional Construction Scheduler
  • 10+ years of full-time professional construction scheduling experience.
  • Strong background in public works or large capital programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Schedule forensics
  • Time Impact Analysis (Windows Analysis method)
  • Program/master schedule oversight
  • Cost engineering principles
  • Experience mentoring or overseeing other schedulers.
  • Strong executive-level reporting capability.
Required Skills (All Levels)
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version).
  • Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles.
  • Knowledge of cost engineering and earned value methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with project teams and agency staff.
Education and

Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Equivalent experience may compensate for education requirements per level.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) certification preferred, but not required.
