Structural Engineer Project Manager

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction administration
• Direct the design of steel, reinforced concrete, and seismic force-resisting systems
• Oversee technical production and coordinate closely with architects, contractors, and consultants
• Manage schedules, budgets, deliverables, and quality control processes
• Mentor structural engineers, EITs, and BIM designers
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients and project stakeholders
• Support seismic evaluation and retrofit assignments as needed
• Ensure compliance with California building codes and agency standards including DSA and HCAI

• 7+ years of structural building design experience
• Strong background designing large steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Deep understanding of seismic design principles and structural analysis
• Proven experience managing projects within a consulting environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, owners, and contractors
• Strong communication and leadership skills
