PRIMARYFUNCTION
Responsible for the design and technical systems for large, complex healthcare projects from schematic design through construction administration.
TYPICAL DUTIES- Ability to travel to Bay Area project sites at least twice per week.
- Experience with IFOA and “big room” collaboration environments is a plus.
- Develop building system concepts and manage documentation from schematic design through construction administration within the discipline.
- Serve as a discipline lead on large, complex projects when assigned.
- Oversee and mentor project team members within the discipline.
- Prepare and track project status reports.
- Conduct and document required code research.
- Perform material and product research for project development.
- Attend project meetings as needed.
- Coordinate with other discipline leads to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Provide interpretation of documents and review submittals during bidding and construction phases.
- Support the delivery of high-quality architectural and engineering services.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and professional licensure required.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Minimum six years’ experience in the A/E industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of all project phases, including design and technical expertise.
- Broad understanding of coordination requirements across all design disciplines.
- Strong written, verbal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and delegate effectively.
- Proficient with computer and CADD software.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
- Effective in deadline-driven, team-oriented environments.
- Ability to travel to and from project sites for meetings.
- Ability to access both existing and new project sites for evaluation and observation.
- Ability to use communication and documentation tools and equipment.
- Visual acuity necessary to perform essential responsibilities.
