ARB, Inc. is seeking a senior Project Cost Controls Analyst who will analyze and report project cost data, prepare cost estimates, and develop cost control procedures. This opportunity offers an exciting and fulfilling role for someone who enjoys working with project teams to manage costs throughout the project lifecycle.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Controls Cost Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost engineering, project management, and proficiency in various cost estimating software. They will be responsible for analyzing and reporting project cost data, preparing cost estimates, and developing cost control procedures. Extensive collaboration with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders is required to ensure costs are properly managed.

• Follow project cost control procedures and operate within company-established systems.
• Monitor, analyze, and report project costs, compare them to budgeted costs, and perform variance analysis.
• Prepare project cost forecasts, including direct costs, indirect costs, equipment costs, and third‑party costs.
• Develop and/or oversee earned value management tools.
• Review and analyze contractor and vendor cost reports and forecasts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and/or oversee company invoices, ensuring compliance with the contract.
• Review and approve third‑party invoices.
• Understand contracts and determine original scope from change scope, ensuring costs are captured appropriately.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate cost information into project plans and schedules.
• Support the development of cost performance reports and presentation materials for senior management.
• Coordinate with AR, AP, and payroll on day‑to‑day operations.
• Ensure all cost‑related data is properly entered and maintained in the project cost control system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in cost engineering and project controls.
• Strong knowledge of project cost control principles, procedures, and systems.
• Experience in cost estimating, forecasting, and trend analysis.
• Experience supporting large‑scale, long‑term EPC projects preferred.
• Experience with lump‑sum contracts and time‑and‑materials contracts preferred.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software such as Primavera, Excel, and Ecosys.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Annual salary range of 110‑130k, commensurate with education, skills, and experience.
