We are seeking a Mechanical Plumbing Engineer or Designer with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our multi-discipline firm. The ideal candidate will be well versed in plumbing design and/or engineering, comfortable consulting to owners and general contractors, and able to work as part of a larger team.

• Serve as a technical leader in plumbing design for significant large-scale mid-rise and high-rise residential projects.
• Mentor team members to support long-term growth and project execution.
• Collaborate within a multi-discipline engineering team to meet project objectives and maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and innovation.
• Contribute to projects in healthcare, education, data centers, and other target markets as applicable.
• Consult with owners and general contractors to achieve client objectives.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience designing plumbing systems for multi-family residential or commercial buildings. Los Angeles or California experience preferred.
• B.A. or B.S. from an accredited college in a related field (preferred).
• Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) or equivalent (preferred).
• California EIT or PE Registration (preferred).
• Familiarity with relevant codes: mechanical, energy, plumbing.
• High proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit is required.

• Ability to perform engineering and/or design work without supervision.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and other CAD/BIM tools used in the discipline.
• Develop drawings from sketches to computer-generated graphs, overlays, and isometrics; design domestic water calculations and multi-system riser diagrams.
• Analyze input material to determine the best approach for drawings; design layouts, details, and system designs for typical systems.
• Perform field observations and generate reports; collaborate with project teams to support project completion.
• Knowledge of codes and design/construction practices; ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy; able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; positive contribution to office culture and morale.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

• Approximate Base Salary: 110k-150k, based on experience.
• Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
• Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
• Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
• 401k with up to 5% employer matching for 9% employee contribution.
