As the Project Environmental Manager, you will develop, implement and monitor project site environmental conditions to comply with environmental agency regulations and mitigate potential environmental liabilities. What You Will Be Doing- Develop and monitor environmental procedures on construction sites; implement and train project work crews and management teams regarding potential environmental issues and procedures.
- Identify, document, and resolve environmental risks during daily site inspections; document findings, evaluations, and inspections using company-approved procedures and software.
- Advise project management on the proper interpretation and implementation of environmental regulations and specifications.
- Document, analyze, and report environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
- Advise construction teams on environmental hazards and procedures to minimize adverse effects.
- Perform impact assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate the project’s environmental risks and financial costs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of environmental regulatory and compliance experience in the construction industry.
- Expert knowledge of local regulations and relevant work on projects.
- Expert knowledge of compliance with environmental regulations and new legislation.
- Proven technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
