This position requires a highly experienced Rotor dynamics engineer with 9+ years of experience to develop solutions to unique or complex problems which have important effects on major programs. It requires advanced knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts, plus an extended knowledge of principles and practices in closely related disciplines. The individual will join a senior staff engaged in design and analysis activities related to rocket engine turbo machinery.
This position requires the candidate to have experience with performing rotordynamic analyses utilizing classical approaches and modeling. Experience conducting rotordynamic analyses in support of turbo machinery development and production related issues is required. Familiarity with correlating analyses and high frequency dynamic data desired. Candidate will report status and document results of analyses performed.
9+ years of rotor dynamics experience (B.S. or graduate degree count towards years of experience) in support of aerospace turbo machinery development and production programs. This includes performing rotor dynamics analysis in addition to review of turbo machinery high frequency data.
