The Head of Electrical Engineering will lead the electrical engineering discipline across advanced aerospace hardware programmes. This role defines technical direction, sets engineering standards and delivers reliable electrical designs from concept through qualification and production.
As the Head of Electrical Engineering your responsibilities will include- Leading and developing the electrical engineering team while setting technical standards
- Acting as technical authority across power electronics, passive components and EMI EMC
- Owning electrical hardware design from concept through qualification and verification testing
- Supporting production readiness through close collaboration with manufacturing and quality
- Working directly with customers to translate requirements into compliant technical solutions
- Extensive experience in aerospace electrical engineering with strong hands on design capability
- Deep expertise in EMI EMC, power electronics and aerospace grade hardware
- Proven delivery of certified electrical designs in regulated environments
- Experience building, testing and debugging prototypes using laboratory equipment
- The ability to mentor engineers and lead complex technical decisions
