Repair Engineer

The Repair Engineer is athorough, dedicated and technical customer facing individual, who is focused on developing unique repair solutions of engineered-to-order turbo machinery using industry standards and Siemens Energy developed repair standards. The objectiveis to ensure reliability, availability and efficiency of the equipment whileprioritizing safety and quality to return the unit back to operating condition.

• Develop work instructions, repair shop routers, inspection packages and quality plans.
• Establishguidelines to provide engineering assessment and disposition forcompromised equipment whist coordinating with experts to develop accuraterepair dispositions.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and leadsman to ensure specifications and procedures are adhered to during each project phase.
• Support the resolution of customer technical issues to provide effective solutions within acceptable schedule requirements.
• Contribute todigitalization efforts to enhance shop operations (digital inspection programs i.e. 3-D scanning).
• Develop accurate reports and organizing engineering records to update fleet data.

• Bachelor'sdegree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent field) with a minimum of 3years of working experience in the oil & gas or power generationservice industry is preferred.
• Possessfundamental knowledge of turbo machinery theory and thorough understanding of standard repair principles.
• Familiar withmachining and mechanic operations including industry standards (ASME &API).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to be agile/resourceful with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal ability and technical writing skills.
• Flexibility toadapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
