Senior Estimator - Heavy Civils

US $130-170k + Bonus and benefits

OTJ Engineering is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Senior Estimator to join our clients estimating team in Los Angeles, California.

This position will prepare portions of contract proposal estimates for all scopes of work on a typical civil infrastructure project (structures, roadway, underground wet utilities, earthwork, etc.), including the interpretation and takeoff of project plans and specifications to complete a full estimate of the work. The estimator will be responsible for all scopes for both traditional bid-build and alternative procurement (CMAR, CMGC and Progressive Design-Build) projects for the region estimating team.

Ideally you will have;

• 5+ years of estimating experience and/or related project management training with large highway projects is preferred.
• Experience with all scopes of a typical heavy civil construction project and the ability to estimate or review all scopes as needed.
• Proficient experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is required.

The role is office based in Long Beach, California and therefore you must be willing to work within daily commutable distance of the office. We are prepared to look out out of state candidates however you must be prepared to relocate to LA to take up the position.

Our client is open to paying a basic salary of up to US $170k + bonus and full benefits and they are looking to onboard in early February so interviews have begun now.
