They are looking to start 2026 off strong by bringing in an skilled mechanical engineer for a key growth position in their newer LA office. Therefore, this individual will be given the unique opportunity to take on immediate responsibility within an incredibly established national firm, but also play a pivotal role in leading the regional growth of a slightly smaller office that is still developing rapidly.
EssentialQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with applicable mechanical, energy, and plumbing codes.
- Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Exposure to energy modeling tools such as Energy Pro or similar software.
- Self-motivated professional with strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and follow through independently or as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; familiarity with Adobe InDesign, databases, and proposal systems preferred.
- General understanding of A/E/C industry practices and terminology.
- Positive contributor to team performance, workplace culture, and organizational goals.
