- Take end-to-end ownership of prototyping and first-article builds for new hardware designs
- Partner with Design Engineers to deeply understand system requirements, challenge assumptions, and influence designs using first-principles thinking
- Drive manufacturability from day one by prototyping components with integration, performance, cost, and production constraints in mind
- Serve as the manufacturing lead for new products, ensuring smooth transition from early builds into production
- Ensure designs are production-ready by providing clear DFM/DFA feedback and validating implementation at manufacturing sites
- Own tooling and configuration control, including drawings, BOMs, revisions, and part configurations
, in alignment with aerospace standards and internal documentation processes - Function as the subject-matter expert for assigned manufacturing processes and technologies
- 1–6 years of experience in manufacturing, build, or production engineering within the aerospace industry
- A background in fast-paced startup environments or high-intensity organizations
- Strong foundation in mechanical design and manufacturing processes
- Proven ability to apply first-principles engineering to production challenges
- Proficiency with CAD tools
, PLM/PDM systems
, and configuration management - Solid working knowledge of GD&T and Materials & Processing (M&P)
