Volks Resources is urgently hiring RAN Field Engineers to support 5G BB Swap projects in the Los Angeles market. This is a high-impact, field-based role ideal for engineers with hands-on experience in 5G deployment, troubleshooting, and call testing.

As a RAN Field Engineer, you’ll be responsible for executing 5G baseband swaps, performing call testing, and resolving field-level issues across the LA market. You’ll work independently or in small teams, commuting between sites using your own vehicle. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work, ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, hands-on environments and are ready to hit the ground running.

• Complete 5G BB swaps at designated cell sites
• Perform call testing and troubleshoot RAN-related issues
• Ensure site readiness and validate configurations post-swap
• Coordinate with remote teams for integration and validation
• Maintain accurate documentation and daily reporting

• Prior or current experience in a field-based RAN engineering role
• Hands-on experience with 5G BB swaps, troubleshooting, and call testing
• Familiarity with Ericsson and/or Verizon network environments
• Must be based in or able to commute to the LA market
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle

• Experience with site audits and punch list resolution
• Knowledge of RF optimization and drive testing
• Familiarity with Ericsson OSS tools
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
