MATT Construction, the General Contractor that built iconic structures such as The Broad and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, seeks an MEP Senior Project Manager to join our team.
Job OverviewOversee all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Low-Voltage scopes on large-scale commercial construction projects. Manage MEP trades, ensuring design, coordination, procurement, installation, and commissioning meet contract, scheduling, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Lead all phases of MEP project delivery—from preconstruction through commissioning
- Manage large-scale ($100M+) MEP subcontractor scope
- Administer procurement, contracts, cost control, forecasting, and schedule integration
- Coordinate with design teams, BIM/VDC, commissioning agents, and field leadership
- Support field installation, testing, inspections, and turnover activities
- Facilitate MEP coordination, OAC, and stakeholder communication
- Mentor and supervise project engineers and assistant project managers
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of education
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience with large-scale MEP leadership
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, design coordination, sequencing, and commissioning
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, risk, and subcontractor performance
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling, and BIM platforms
- Proven ability to independently navigate, interpret, and apply 3D BIM models to identify conflicts, drive coordination, and educate team members

Salary: $165,000 to $228,700 DOE
