Cisco Wireless Engineer

Job Description

A large client in West LA is looking to bring on a Wireless Network Engineer to assist with a Network Access Point refresh project. They will be focused on Aruba wireless controllers but will need basic knowledge of Cisco routers/switches. They will mainly join the team to oversee maintenance of the project. The project will commence when the site closes, so shifts will mainly be in the evening (starting in the range of 5p-9pm and never last more than 8hrs).

Once the project is up and running, they will have some remote flexibility as they will remotely make sure that the access point is up and running.

• 3 years' hands-on experience with supporting wireless controllers and Access Points.
• 3 years' hands-on experience with supporting AAA protocols.
• 3 years' experience with network operations.
• Working experience with Cisco switches.
• Troubleshoot/fix 802.1x authentication related issues.
• Troubleshoot problems with Guest WiFi.
