Topa Group, Inc. is partnering up with a Fire Protection company seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer ASAP. Feel free to email me with any questions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and layout automatic fire sprinkler systems using CAD or design software (e.g., AutoSPRINK, Sprink
CAD, Hydra
CAD). - Perform hydraulic calculations to ensure system performance and code compliance.
- Prepare submittal drawings, material lists, and fabrication sheets.
- Coordinate design work with architects, general contractors, and other trades.
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
- Conduct field surveys to verify site conditions and measurements.
- Assist in project planning, estimating, and scheduling as needed.
- Ensure all designs comply with NFPA standards, local authority requirements, and company policies.
- Provide technical support to installation teams during construction.
- 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design (commercial, industrial, or residential).
- Proficiency with design software such as AutoSPRINK, Sprink
CAD, Hydra
CAD, or similar. - Strong understanding of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and local building/fire codes.
- NICET Level II or higher in Fire Protection Engineering Technology (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
