Overview
Water Resource Recovery Project Manager - Southern California s role focuses on leading wastewater infrastructure projects and advancing water recovery initiatives within Southern California.
Responsibilities- Spearhead planning, design, and construction services for wastewater projects, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
- Lead master plans and technical studies shaping the future of water recovery.
- Mentor rising talent and build lasting client relationships to drive innovation.
- Take the reins on strategy, marketing, and contract negotiations to win transformative work.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and leverage Jacobs’ network of technical experts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure from the State of California or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Demonstrated understanding of wastewater collection and conveyance systems, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated self-starter mindset.
- Project management experience for wastewater utility projects, including related master planning, design, and project development.
- Ability to develop relationships with clients and win work.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Strong network with Northern California municipalities and exceptional client-facing skills.
- Enthusiasm for mentoring and collaboration across teams.
- Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr
