Overview

Inspector A&P – Van Nuys, CA – Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation

• Perform Quality Control inspections on aircraft, components, and engine repairs to ensure compliance with FAA/CAA standards.
• Review and document maintenance records, ensuring accuracy and completeness before return to service.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and inspection requirements during maintenance or outfitting.
• Maintain accurate, legible records and coordinate with RTS to produce timely aircraft records.
• Conduct audits of maintenance documentation and ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to flight activities.
• Mentor technicians on effective documentation and provide technical support to inspection personnel.
• Communicate with management to identify work assignments and delivery schedules.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in blueprint reading, shop mathematics, and QC procedures.
• Working knowledge and application of Quality Assurance/Control systems and methodologies.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
