Job Description
About the Role:
Under the direction of the Manager for Process Engineering, contribute to the design, development and enhancement of manufacturing processes. The primary responsibilities include executing equipment and process improvement projects, creating new and existing product processes, serving as a system owner for manufacturing equipment and processes, and providing technical support to manufacturing and maintenance functions.
How You Will Contribute:- Perform standard engineering assignments and recommend design improvements under managerial direction.
- Participate in technical problem–solving for operational issues using engineering and scientific principles.
- Perform equipment testing, commissioning, and support qualification activities.
- Lead or participate in process equipment improvement projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality systems.
- Serve as system owner, maintaining equipment operating efficiencies and resolving systemic issues.
- Create detailed project schedules and budgets, interface with cross‑functional groups, and oversee timelines and spending.
- Establish, develop, and drive Good Engineering Practices; execute projects per the prescribed project‑management methodology.
- Manage contractors on projects.
- BS in Engineering with at least 2 years of related experience, or MS in Engineering with 0–2 years of experience.
- Proven ability to deliver results in technical challenges within a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment, including Engineering, Project Management, and Validation.
- Strong process‑engineering skills grounded in engineering and scientific principles.
- Extensive technical expertise and knowledge of related engineering disciplines common to the business.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with all professional levels.
- Effective technical writing, clearly describing complex processes and qualifications.
- Ability to persuade management with minimal assistance using written and verbal methods.
- Self‑motivated, interpersonal, and analytical with innovative problem‑solving skills.
- Team player experienced in multiple projects and leading cross‑functional teams with minimal guidance.
- Prioritization of multiple tasks and incorporation of cGMP concepts, quality systems, and safety into design.
- Capacity to provide solutions aligned with business objectives and cost implications.
- Work in a controlled environment with special gowning and protective clothing.
- Remove all makeup, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and artificial fingernails in manufacturing areas.
- Work in cold, wet environments.
- Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or supplemental hours as needed.
- Work with chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers, and Celite that may require respiratory protection.

U.S. Base Salary Range: $70,000.00 – $
