Responsibilities- Lead and manage supply chain projects, including work transfer, dual sourcing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate and facilitate cross‑functional teams, including procurement, logistics, operations, quality, and engineering.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption to supply chain operations.
- Track project progress, monitor KPIs, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Engage with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of sourcing and supply chain transitions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility, qualification processes, and manufacturing readiness of alternative suppliers.
- Ensure dual sourcing strategies align with technical specifications, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the engineering change process and coordinate with engineering, program management, production and supplier quality teams to implement dual sourcing strategies successfully.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or project management within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and logistics operations.
- Knowledge of engineering principles related to material selection, production processes, and supplier qualification.
- Familiarity with technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and validation reports for supplier components.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, project management software, and supply chain analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with tight deadlines.
