QA​/QC Engineer - Steel Bridges Maintenance

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA/QC Engineer specializing in Steel Bridges Maintenance to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of steel bridge maintenance projects through rigorous inspection and quality control processes.

• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for steel bridge maintenance projects
• Conduct thorough inspections of steel bridge structures to identify maintenance needs and potential issues
• Perform quality control checks on maintenance work to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Analyze inspection data and prepare comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations
• Collaborate with project managers and maintenance teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices in steel bridge maintenance
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel on quality control procedures
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing QA/QC processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance and quality standards are met

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC for steel bridge maintenance or related field
• NACE / BGAScertification mandatory
• CSWIP certification preferred
• Valid UAE Driving License with Own Car (Fuel will be provided)
• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control methodologies specific to steel bridge maintenance
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment for steel structures
• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to bridge maintenance
• Expertise in corrosion prevention and control techniques for steel structures
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel to various project sites within the UAE as required
