Aboutthe Work
You will work on restoration, repair, and rehabilitation projects involving a wide mix of structures. Expect work that touches existing buildings, parking structures, historic facilities, concrete and steel systems, facade and envelope issues, and other performance‑driven challenges. Projects often involve careful investigation and creative solutions, with strong coordination between engineering and architecture.
Responsibilities- Perform condition assessments and field investigations to identify structural issues
- Develop repair strategies, structural designs, and detailed recommendations
- Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports
- Coordinate with architects, owners, property managers, and contractors
- Support construction administration including site visits, field observations, and review of contractor submittals
- Manage parts of projects while collaborating closely with senior engineers and project managers
- Contribute to a high‑performing team known for thorough, accurate work
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering required
- Master's degree preferred
- EIT required, PE preferred
- Experience in structural restoration, investigation, or rehabilitation
- Strong understanding of concrete repair, strengthening, corrosion, waterproofing concepts, or similar technical areas
- Familiarity with analysis tools and inspection methods
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and contractors
- Detail‑oriented mindset with a desire to continue learning
