Role Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in structural design, detailing, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams while gaining exposure to a variety of exciting and challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and detail structural systems for large, complex projects in various market sectors.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Revit drafts persons, architects, and consultants to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, seismic regulations, and industry standards.
  • Perform structural analysis, calculations, and detailing for steel and concrete structures.
  • Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and project coordination efforts.
  • Assist in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.
Requirements Must-Have Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Minimum 3-6+ years of building design experience.
  • Education:

    Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from a U.S. university.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Strong experience in Type I construction (steel and concrete structures).
  • Ability to design and detail large, complex structural systems across multiple market sectors.
  • Proficiency in Revit and ability to coordinate with draftspersons, architects, and consultants.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, seismic analysis, and structural design principles.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience working with DSA and OSHPD (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
