We are seeking an experienced Project Manager in Structural Engineering to lead and manage large‑scale structural projects, focusing on Type I construction (steel and concrete). This position is ideal for someone with a proven ability to oversee both ground‑up construction (60‑70%) and renovations (30‑40%), while managing client relationships and a team of engineers.
Must‑Have Qualifications
- 8+ years of structural engineering experience
- SE License required
- Master’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering (U.S. university)
- Experience in Type I construction (steel and concrete structures)
- Strong experience with ground‑up construction and renovations
- Familiarity with Mission Critical Facilities
- Proven ability to manage large‑scale structural projects
- Leadership & Client Management skills to act as a strong, decisive leader and manage a team of engineers/designers
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
- Experience with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD
- Experience in seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41
Location: Los Angeles, CA | San Diego, CA
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (in‑office) with Work‑from‑Home (WFH) on Fridays.
