Overview
UCLA Music Department invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in classical guitar. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with studio size.
Responsibilities- Individual instruction of graduate and undergraduate classical guitar students
- Teaching classical guitar studio class and/or coaching guitar chamber music ensembles
- Participation in departmental auditions and juries
- Recruitment of new students
- Instruction of one or more classical guitar classes for non-majors from across the university
- Established regional, national, and/or international reputation as a performer and teacher with expertise and experience in broad repertoires
- A post-baccalaureate degree is preferred
The Final date to receive applications is June 4, 2023, with an anticipated appointment date of October 1, 2023.
