School Counselor

Overview

Cross Country Education is seeking a full-time DIS Counselor for the current school year. We partner with K-12 schools and districts in the LA area and have an opening in the West LA/South LA region. The hourly rate is $43-$54 (DOE).

• Provide counseling services outlined in student IEPs
• Support students’ personal/social development, behavior management, and academic performance
• Deliver services individually or in groups, including students in general education
• Travel to one or a few assigned school sites – we aim to minimize travel when possible by assigning nearby locations

• Competitive pay ($43 - $54 per hour) with weekly direct deposit
• Paid mileage and drive time for travel between school sites
• Communications stipend (based on role and hours)
• Paid training and administrative time

• Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential authorizing services as a School Counselor
