Under the direct supervision of the Principal – Special Education, provides regularly scheduled Adapted Physical Education for students enrolled in special education classes.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
• California Teaching Credential with the Adapted Physical Education Authorization

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in teaching gross motor, perceptual motor and sensory motor development;
• Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction to physically handicapped populations;
• Ability to communicate successfully with parents and staff;
• Exhibits the ability to diagnose, assess, prescribe and evaluate the motor needs of individual pupils.
