As a Behavioral Classroom Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioral needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care and behavioral assistance to assigned students

• Assisting with classroom activities, grooming, meal preparation, toileting, and ambulation

• Managing challenging behaviors and implementing crisis intervention strategies

• Encouraging independence and ensuring student safety

• Supporting the implementation of behavioral plans

• Maintaining accurate documentation as per Amergis policies

• Communicating effectively with school staff and Amergis office personnel

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• CPR Certification & Current TB Skin Test/Chest X-ray (if applicable)

• Completion of company testing process
