In-Home SPED Tutor - Elementary Academic

At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Playa Vista, CA. As a Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

• In-Person Tutoring in Playa Vista, CA
• Schedule:
  
  10 hours, 1-2 sessions a week (tutoring hours TBD)
• Pay range is between $25 and $35

• Current Special Education (SPED) credential required.
• Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, and auditory processing differences.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and multisensory learning strategies.
• Skilled in building engagement, confidence, and persistence through positive reinforcement.
• Patient, structured, and adaptable teaching style suited for diverse learning needs

• Provide individualized instruction in math concepts and skills, reading fluency, and comprehension across multiple content areas.
• Adapt lessons and materials to support auditory processing challenges and maintain engagement.
• Reinforce comprehension strategies such as summarizing, sequencing, and identifying main ideas.
• Monitor academic progress and adjust instruction to align with student goals and learning pace.
• Create a calm, supportive learning environment that promotes focus, understanding, and independence
