Chaminade College Preparatory seeks a dynamic, innovative, and engaging Long Term Substitute MATH TEACHER for our high school campus (grades 9‑12) in West Hills, California. This is a full‑time position. Pay is based upon years of experience.

• Teach six sections across all levels, including Honors Algebra 2/Trig, AP Calculus, and Honors Pre‑Calculus.
• Plan lessons, provide feedback, grade assignments, and maintain accurate records under the supervision of the vice principals.
• Collaborate with department members to evaluate, monitor, and update curriculum, assessment, and pacing guides.
• Integrate technology using Blackboard LMS, MathXL, My Math Lab , Delta Math, Desmos, and AP Classroom.
• Ensure instructional strategies respect students’ diverse social identities while aligning with Catholic Marianist values.

• Passion for teaching high‑school mathematics.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; teaching credential and/or master’s preferred.
• Prior math‑teaching experience in a Catholic or faith‑based setting preferred.
• Comfortable delivering instruction in person, remotely, or in a hybrid model.
