Lecturer in Linguistics Position AY
The UCLA Department of Linguistics invites applications for Lecturer for the academic year to teach 1 undergraduate course:
- Spring:
Linguistics and Speech Pathology
See Table 15 for the salary range for this position. Salary placement will be based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
According to current UCLA policy, all courses must be taught in person on the UCLA campus.

Qualifications Basic qualificationsThe UCLA Department of Linguistics invites applications for a part-time Lecturer for Spring 2026 to teach 1 course and thus have expertise in the following:
- Phonology
- Phonetics
Minimum educational degree (preferred) - Ph.D. with specialization in related field desirable.
The department will adhere to the Academic Personnel policies governing Unit 18 Lecturer appointments and promotions in order to recruit and retain a diverse faculty and to continue to contribute to the diversity goals of the UC.
