Responsibilities- Teach the knowledge and skills, nurture confidence and character, and inspire passion needed for students to achieve goals, live their best lives, and positively impact the world.
- Value and draw upon students’ experiences and backgrounds.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies based on diverse student needs to engage all learners.
- Develop and administer assessments to measure student growth toward goals and monitor mastery of content standards.
- Analyze student assessment results (informal and formal) and use data to inform instruction.
- Communicate and collaborate professionally with teammates, parents, and community members.
- Implement classroom management techniques to create a nurturing and structured environment.
- Maintain high expectations for academic achievement and conduct.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Passing score on the California Basic Skills Test (CBEST) or equivalent.
- Valid preliminary or CLEAR teaching credential appropriate to role (preferred but not required).
