Employment Status Notice:
Any individual hired into an AMU-represented position with a start date on or after September 15 will be classified as an at-will, probationary employee. At the conclusion of the school year, there may be an opportunity to transition to regular employee status.

California-Based Educators (by July 2026)
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Hold or be eligible for a California Preliminary or Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential in Math
, OR - Be eligible for a California Single Subject Intern Teaching Credential in Math (Intern credential must be earned by July 2026), OR
- Be eligible for a Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP) or Provisional Internship Permit (PIP) and hold a valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Candidates with a Preliminary or Clear Multiple Subject credential must also have at least 12 post-secondary semester units in Math coursework
- Multiple Subject credential holders will only be eligible for middle school Math positions
- Multiple Subject Intern credentials cannot be accepted
Applicants should review eligibility requirements through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to determine qualification to teach in California public schools by July 2026.
