JOB SUMMARY

The Social Impact Program Coordinator must enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and be mission‑driven, results‑driven, and community‑oriented. The Social Impact Program Coordinator will be able to exercise good judgment in various situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

This high‑impact position will involve shaping the educational experience of The SoLa Foundation’s students, communicating with them regularly, and ensuring successful outcomes of programming that create pathways to building generational wealth. This role will inspire and uplift the next generation of young professionals.

PAY RATE: $25.00-$34.00 AN HOUIR

IN-OFFICE: M-F TYPICAL BUSINESS HOURS

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The SoLa Foundation (video), is the nonprofit affiliate of SoLa Impact, and is built on a simple premise:
If you can see it, you can be it. Our marquee projects are the SoLa College Scholarship Program and the SoLa Technology and Entrepreneurship Center.

SoLa is currently developing its second tech center in Leimert Park in partnership with Live Nation (opening Q2 2026). The Tech Centers work to train and inspire the next generation of tech and entertainment professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders from South LA. The center offers programs in four career pathways:

  • Technology
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Arts, Media and Entertainment
  • Esports and Video Game Design and Production
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Support planning, coordination, and quality assurance across programs, events, field trips, workshops, and activities
  • Manage program‑related email communications and reminders for students and families, ensuring timely, clear, and consistent messaging.
  • Serve as a point of contact for families regarding schedules, program updates, and participation requirements.
  • Coordinate class schedules, room assignments, and instructional materials to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate with instructors and internal teams to ensure program readiness and alignment with learning goals.
  • Maintain and improve systems track participation, attendance, progress,, incentives, penalties, eligibility, etc.
  • Serves as the primary contact with participants and select partners to coordinate all program activities, communications, and logistics
  • Creates program applications, recruitment materials, and conducts applicant interviews
  • Manage participant sign‑ups and agreements: savings agreements, consent forms, withdrawal rules
  • Manage volunteer and partner agreements and ensure appropriate participation
  • Manage participant access to curriculum, including asynchronous content, and monitor completion.
  • Create surveys, collect data, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable insights to inform leadership decision-making.
  • Produce quarterly and annual reports that summarize program participation, student growth, and community impact for internal stakeholders, funders, and partners.
  • Manage regular communications with program alumni
  • Hold participants accountable and work closely with the Success team to enforce accountability when necessary
  • Proactively work with Assoc. Director of Social Impact to seek out partnership and funding opportunities for all relevant programs
  • Lead coordination of Summer Camp programming, including scheduling, enrollment logistics, staffing support, materials preparation, and daily operations.
  • Ensure summer programs meet enrollment targets, safety standards, and instructional quality expectations.
  • Provide exceptional admin support to the Foundation Management Team on relevant programs
  • Collaborate with the Social Impact team on projects and events, and proactively contribute where needed
  • Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
