Immediate openings are for the following locations:

• Location:
  
  Los Angeles Unified School District Schools,  school year
• Location:
  
  Wilmington, CA 90744

• Schedule:
  
  Weekdays during the school day
• Hours:
  
  9-12 hours per week, with the possibility of 15+ hours per week within 30 days by working additional virtual or in-person hours

• $23 per hour standard
• $24 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $25 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor

• Tutor K-5th grade students in ELA and Math.
• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• Be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• Provide 3 professional references
• Have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• Have at least one year of student-related experience
• Be detail-oriented and highly dependable
• Be an effective communicator
• Have reliable transportation
• Can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
