Role Description

This is an on-site
, part-time Instructor role at Mathnasium located in Los Angeles, CA. As a Mathnasium Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching math to students in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing personalized instruction, utilizing Mathnasium's unique learning materials and teaching methods, developing student rapport, and monitoring learning plans to ensure progress and mastery. You will play a vital role in helping students build their math skills, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning.

• Strong mathematical proficiency in topics ranging from basic arithmetic to high school-level math, including algebra, geometry, and calculus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills to engage and motivate students effectively.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping children learn and succeed academically.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of instructors and adapt to individual student needs.
• Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Basic understanding of educational tools and resources; training on the Mathnasium Method™ will be provided.
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in mathematics, education, or related field is preferred.
