CONGENITAL CARDIAC SURGERY FELLOW AD

The Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiac Surgery at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine is seeking an outstanding candidate for a 2-year ACGME-accredited Congenital Cardiac Surgery Fellowship.

• Applicants must have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Thoracic Surgery Fellowship and be board-certified or board-eligible in Thoracic Surgery.

Training will take place at UCLA and Children’s Hospital of Orange County, providing comprehensive exposure to the diagnosis, perioperative management, and operative treatment of congenital heart disease across the lifespan, as well as other cardiac conditions requiring surgical intervention in pediatric patients. Fellows will be fully integrated into a multidisciplinary congenital heart team and will receive close mentorship from highly experienced senior congenital cardiac surgeons.

In addition to clinical training, fellows will be expected to participate in research and innovation initiatives aimed at advancing the field of congenital heart care.
