A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Work alongside a close-knit team of 5 physicians, actively involved in work groups such as practice guidelines, the code blue committee, and the ICU celebration of life committee.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
• Must be comfortable managing ICU patients and be open to performing central lines.
• Authorized to work in the USA

Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling with 10-hour night shifts M-F and 11.5 hour night shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Nocturnist covers the ICU overnight and supervises the residents' admissions to the floor. Intensivists are available telephonically overnight. Central line & airways skills are desired although back-up is available.
• Phenomenal team culture. Manageable workload.
• In-house Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs.
• EMR:
  Cerner with dragon for dictation.

Rewards and Compensation:

• Annual compensation: $351,130.
• Paid malpractice, including tail coverage.
