PM Pediatrics is the largest pediatric urgent care network in the country, with over 40 offices and plans for ongoing expansion. Founded and led by pediatric emergency physicians with a mission to provide an alternative for children who otherwise seek emergency care, we are academically driven, with the nation’s first Pediatric Urgent Care Fellowship program, a national annual conference () and a significant repository of data available for research.

We strive to be on the cutting edge of all aspects of pediatric medicine and are initiating a national telemedicine program in addition to our practices in multiple states. PM Pediatrics offices are set up like an ED but in a private practice setting with x‑ray and lab services on site, highly skilled support staff, specialty consultations when necessary (i.e. plastic surgery, orthopedics…), and high acuity with a diverse case mix.

PM Pediatrics is actively expanding and looking for additional PEM physicians and pediatricians with urgent care experience to join our team; which includes over 60 PEM providers. Under the guidance of the Medical Director, physicians are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence‑based treatment to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting.

• Performing procedural care (abscess drainage, laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive, and foreign body removal)
• Assessment and treatment of acute injury
• Assessment and treatment of acute illness; including but not limited to anaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma care
• Providing preliminary interpretation of x‑rays with official radiology over‑reads
• Oversight of trainees and co‑signing of APPs charts
• Manage a busy, fast‑paced workflow

• Ability to critically think, multitask, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent computer skills and experience with EMR (eCW experience preferred)
• BC/BE in Pediatrics
• Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience

$115 - $150/hour

The salary/rate range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary/rate for this role. Please note that actual salaries/rates may vary within this range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and based on experience and qualifications.
